Walking and Windshield Tour Map
Held on National Trail Mix Day

Guests picked up their tour map at the Kinnear Museum of Local History or at the Hadley / Luzerne Train Depot for an afternoon of discovery.  Hadley and Lake Luzerne told their story through pictures on the Walking and Windshield Tour Map or the actual historic sites and markers throughout the two towns.  The three mile tour loop was enjoyed by over 100 people walking or driving. The scavenger hunt questionnaire added to the fun-filled and family-friendly event day!  In conjunction with National Trail Mix Day free bags of trail mix and bottled water were available.
To follow the guidelines of CDC masks were worn, social distancing was maintained and hand sanitizing wash stations were set-up, some sites displayed hand sanitizers within an accessible wooden birdhouse.

Tour maps will continue to be distributed around the towns and the counties of Warren and Saratoga.  The Walking and Windshield Tour Map of Hadley and Lake Luzerne may be picked up at the town halls or mailed to you. Please provide your mailing address by either emailing us at kinnearmuseum@gmail.com or writing to us at Hadley Lake Luzerne Historical Society, P.O. Box 275, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846.
