Home of the Hadley-Lake Luzerne Historical Society

About the Historical Society
The Hadley-Lake Luzerne Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, preservation and dissemination of knowledge of the history of the Towns of Hadley and Lake Luzerne in upstate New York. We are located in Warren County in the southern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains with offices in the Kinnear Museum of Local History. The museum is a Victorian home furnished in the style of the day. Artifacts and exhibits in the museum tell about life in this area of the southern Adirondacks including: farming, logging, grand hotels, manufacturing, dude ranches, and summer camps. We hope you will come visit us soon!

Kinnear Museum Hours:
July & August: 11am-3pm on Friday and Saturday
October-June: Saturday 12pm-3pm or by appointment.

Important Note: Museum hours are subject to volunteer availability and may vary, feel free to call ahead to verify open hours. If your visit is for research purposes, we request that you contact us via email/phone to set up an appointment.
